I would just look at my DSLR camera and feel stressed. Too many buttons, too many options, it was confusing and complex. So I took garbage photos or none at all, and it handcuffed my practice. I was embarrassed to show my work, often over-educated patients, had no social media presence and used stock imagery on my site. I looked like just another dental office, like everyone else. If I was ever going to feel free and have patients seek ME out, I needed to learn how to take photos, once and for all. So I did...
Same work, different workflow...
Turns out, it wasn't confusion that was stopping me, it was ignorance. All of the dental photography courses I took made epic results look expensive and complex. But that just wasn't necessary! I now change ONE (1) SETTING and move the lights closer, or further away... that's it. That's the difference between absolutely garbage photos like those above, and the luxe images below. No more time sucks (only 7 minutes, start to finish), elaborate setups (one camera + two lights) or fancy gear (I use a Nikon from 2010)!

It also goes FAR BEYOND this, which is literally the best part! I don't spend my time trying to take luxe photos, that bit is both easy & efficient.
